I’d have to search out some different wheels for that.

I believe these are the original Golden Eagle wheels, or at least close to them.

I’ll take mine as a Honcho with Levi interior.

You need to make it to Toledo Jeep Fest whenever the world regains some sense of normalcy. I’ve seen a few Honchos, and a Levi’s Renegade.

I’d probably have those media blasted and then powder coated a subdued dark grey or black, low sheen. Then I’d look for tires a smidgen narrower and no raised white letters.

Do I need to keep my mouth shut about liking Jeepsters and Flatrods while I’m there? I’m sure there are some fanatic Jeepster owners there though.
My favorite Jeeps list would go CJ-8, original Jeepster, CJ-2 through 6, FC’s, later Jeepsters, flatrod, then Wagoneer.

Trust me, there are some fantastic Jeepsters there. I even saw a unique Kaiser Jeepster Commando: it was a prototype they built to show off, and unusually they didn’t destroy it after. Someone who worked there managed to rescue it.
David Tracy talked to the owner about it and shared the story with me later; I suspect it gets a mention at least in an FP post about the festival.

No kidding. I’d rather have an M715, but in a pinch, that would do nicely.

The only Levi's edition I've seen was a derelict Gremlin.

I didn’t take any interior photos because it didn’t seem like it would photograph well, but the seats looked like new . Sharp, sharp Jeep.

The exterior color schemes attract me more than the denim interior. Not that there would have been much denim left in this Gremlin.
